Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure
Last updated: 2026-07-28
Klar (operated by AEYEON Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) connects to Google services on your behalf using the following read-only OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly— read your Google Analytics 4 property to build traffic and acquisition dashboards.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file— per-file access to only the Google Sheet(s) you explicitly select through Google's file picker, to use as a dataset for charts and dashboards. Klar cannot see any other file in your Drive.
Both scopes are read-only. Klar never writes to, modifies, or deletes any Google data.
Limited Use commitment
Klar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- Google user data is used only to provide and improve Klar's user-facing dashboard and insight features that you request.
- Google user data is never used for advertising or any lending purpose.
- Google user data is never sold or transferred to data brokers, advertisers, or any third party, except to the subprocessor that delivers a feature you request (see below).
- Google Workspace APIs — and any data obtained through Google Workspace APIs — are never used to develop, improve, or train generalized and/or third-party AI and/or ML models. More broadly, no Google user data is used to develop, improve, or train any generalized or third-party AI/ML model.
AI / machine learning
Klar uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate dashboard layouts and write insight narratives. When you trigger these features, schema metadata and small data samples are sent to Anthropic solely to produce the specific output you requested. Anthropic does not use data sent through its commercial API to train or improve its models, and Klar has not opted into any Anthropic feedback or development-partner program. Google user data is therefore never used to train any AI/ML model.
Data protection, retention, and deletion
Google user data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AWS KMS). You can disconnect any Google connection at any time from Klar's Connections page; on disconnect we revoke the token and delete cached data for that connection within 30 days. On account deletion, all your data is deleted within 30 days.
